Top Michelin starred chef Jason Atherton opens this all-day dining restaurant in the luxurious Hilton LXR Mayfair hotel, The Biltmore. From the outset the restaurant aims to sit separately from the hotel – with a front and rear separate entrance as well as a link through to the hotel

“The challenge with all day dining restaurants is to offer a different experience at each setting”, says our founder Sanjit Bahra. “Not only does the menu have to change, but so does the ambience and lighting is tantamount to creating atmosphere. You want your customer to want to experience (and talk about) the variety in what they taste and what they see at each sitting. During the day, the space is filled with natural light and bespoke pendants with glass rods float like ethereal clouds above the tables.

Decorative gold leaves travel up the walls and across the ceiling -delicately back lit with carefully positioned light points. At night these provide a sparkling gold canopy to the entrance lobby. Architectural features; ribbed wall finishes, mesh partitions, fluted bar front, floating glass shelves, are all beautifully highlighted to provide layers of opulence to the space.
At night the pendants dim to a low level to reveal seating recesses bathed in a candle-light quality. Gold butterflies appear to flutter around the wall lights on softly lit fluted panelling. There’s even an outdoor dining terrace flanked by a lit green wall that creates an Instagrammable moment as well as privacy from the rest of the space.
